Rani Mahal, also known as the “Queen’s Palace,” is a 19th-century royal residence built by Raghu Nath II of the Newalkar family. Later, it became closely associated with Rani Lakshmibai of Jhansi. The palace is noted for graceful Indo-Islamic details, arched galleries, and vivid murals depicting scenes from the Ramayana and Mahabharata. Today it houses a collection of sculptures from the 9th–12th centuries, making it both a historical and artistic treasure.
